No longer are you limited to boring two dimensional printed circuit boards that require soldering, but are instead free to let your imagination go wild. Due to the resistivity of this paint, it is best suited to low current applications such as powering LEDs, connecting buttons, creating resistors, or using it as capacitive sensors.

It also works with the Touch Board, Pi Cap, electrical components,  prototyping materials, PCBs, MaKey MaKey and e‐textiles. Why not try using it with the Touch Board or Pi Cap to make touch sensors and switches.

The Bare Conductive touch board lets you add interactivity to just about any medium when combined with circuitry and the Bare Conductive Electric Paint. One tool can open a whole host of possibilities such as making a MIDI piano, interactive wall, proximity sensor, or other mixed human/electronic interfaces. It can trigger sounds through its MP3 player and is completely programmable through the Arduino IDE!

Not sure where to get started? Take a look at the Touch Board Starter Kit. It comes with all the materials and ideas you need to get making today!

We are always on the search of cool technology, so when we came across Bare Conductive, we thought: pizza! what a great find! Bare Conductive is a design and technology company from the UK that makes sensing tools for engineers, designers, and makers. They produce a line of electrically conductive paint, capacitive sensor hardware and a range of kits that are extremely well designed, documented, and accompanied by fun projects.

Here are the two projects contributed by the BareConductive community members:

A Conductive Sound Wall is a project that uses a Touch Board and Electric Paint to turn a flat drawing into an interactive sound experience.

Bare Conductive designs and manufactures a suite of technologies that transform surfaces and objects into precise, robust and low cost sensors. This range of kits provides users with context and focused project outcomes for these future-facing platforms, regardless of experience level.
