Description
This is a ridiculously nice camera module, and matched to the Raspberry Pi, it becomes a very multi-talented bit of hardware. It’s not a cheap camera-phone imager – this is a very nice 12.3 megapixel Sony IMX477 sensor, mated to a board that accommodates industry-standard C/CS lens mounts.
There are literally thousands of lenses and adapters you can mount to this board. Practically any quality optic can be used with these mounts. But the mount is only a part of the coolness of this camera module. It also features the standard Raspberry Pi CSI cable standard (which you can get cables to adapt down to the smaller Pi Zero standard).
Note: This module is only capable of taking pictures and video, not sound.
