We’ve made another modification for the Brutusbot – It’s just too fun for us to put down! This new addition reworks the top of the Brutusbot to accommodate a new Blue top plate + built-on SAFE + custom Lid with turret mount. The Solarbotics Arduino/Freeduino Enclosure (SAFE) makes it super-easy to protect and neatly tuck in a Arduino (or Freeduino), motor shield, plus wiring for example.
On the custom Brutusbot Lid we’ve placed the hole pattern to mount the HXT900 Micro servo upside down in case you’d like to make a panning turret for your tank.
Also note that our custom SAFE faceplates also adapt to this kit so you can use a PICAXE 401, EZ-B, or Netduino on your Brutusbot if you so desire.
