Description
WARNING! Fastening the bolts down too far may damage your monitor, please test fit your bolts and place spacers in if necessary.
Note: Transparent blue being shipped is deeper in color than shown in images presently.
Keep your hobby electronics and interface cables nicely hidden away behind your monitor and do it with style. We have 2 color options transparent blue & red acrylic. The SAFE VESA mount conforms to popular LCD bracket mounting standards and allows you to not only mount your SAFE or Raspberry SAFE but also clean up the cables interfacing to your application as well.
This mount can be used with an LCD that has a base mounting option and leaves the back free or it can be used with common LCD wall mounting brackets. It’s perfect for everyday use of the Raspberry Pi® micro-sized computer or great for Arduino product demos at trade shows or Maker Faires.
In order to attach this mount to your SAFE or Raspberry SAFE, simply remove two of the #4-40 screws holding the Pi to the baseplate (screws diagonal to each other are best), and replace them with the included longer #4-40 bolts. There are precut slots in the VESA plate that will mate with the feet of the safe to locate it securely, and will line up the assembly so these two new longer two bolts will pass through the Pi, the bottom of the SAFE, and through the VESA mount, where you use the original nuts to resecure the whole assembly together. As the SAFE’s feet are nested into the VESA mount, using just two mounting screws is more than adequate to keep it all secured together.
