Actobotics has engineered a nice set of micro grippers for robotic uses, which are robust and inexpensive. Mate this with a sub-micro zie Hitec-style servo, and you’re ready to mount it on a 0.77″ hole pattern (common on many Actobotics parts, but you can still mount it to your own devices).
