Probably the most popular application for this adapter is the Raspberry Pi® board but we’ll leave it to you to find more products to fit this into. It’s approximately half the length of an SD card and 5.5mm thick so depending on the product this is going into the housing may need a bit of modification in order to fit. We tested it with our Raspberry SAFE and it installs very nicely in it, no modding necessary, and the microSD only sticks out 3mm from the Pi Board.

The microSD slot is a push-in, push-out holder and be aware that if you are removing a card close to your eyes it has quite a lot of action and can shoot your card back at you very quickly so wear safety glasses or just don’t eject the card near your face!
