Each Darlington driver can control 500 mA (600 mA peak surge) at up to 50 Volts. Suppression diodes are built-in, making the ULN2803 ideal for driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, and small motors. The ULN2803 can be connected directly to an I/O pin of any microcontroller.
