Building your own Arduino, or just looking for a convenient DIP-style package crystal? Crystals usually come in tiny SMD packages, but this is a handy-size can for breadboard/custom protoboard applications.
(Note that generally speaking, it’s not a great idea to have the crystal for a microcontroller too far away from the proper XTAL pins)
