What’s the biggest event for Solarbotics in the spring? Calgary Comic Expo on April 27-30! This year we are going to be there as part of the DIY Island (booth 110) at BMO Centre, Calgary Stampede Park. DIY Island is a booth space shared between Solarbotics, Repair Oasis, Protospace and MakerFaire Calgary.
Solarbotics will be bringing the regular selection of wonderful tech-y goodness including multiple demos, the Marble Machines, and the ever popular Uselessness:
Iron Man by Phillip Vatour is also making an appearance again this year:
Along with Protospace, Solarbotics is helping to man the Repair Oasis, the costume repair center that offers a helping screwdriver, heat gun, and a whole plethora of tools to anyone with a costume mishap. We get to see most elaborate costumes and do all kinds of crazy repairs!
