The Hakko FX-888DX – The X is for extreme knob. We think. This iteration of the trustworthy FX-888 replaces the push-button interface with a much more tactile-friendly rotary-encoder knob. The twist/push interface is quick and effective and a well-received upgrade.

It still features user-selectable preset temperatures and digital calibration simplify user setup and operation, password protection and low-temperature alarm provides process control and helps protect against cold solder joints.

The color we’re featuring is Titanium Silver. Does that mean silver with a titanium tint? Or vice-versa? Regardless, it looks sharp!
