The Curing Station – “For what ails ya”. Sounds like a great name for a pub, but in this case, the curing station is for Resin 3D Prints. Made by Creality, it’s an all-in-one solution for the post-processing of resin 3D printing. It was a surprise to us how messy of a process this can be, but the UW-01 curing station goes a long way to making it a much more convenient process.

After printing your resin model, you start by giving it the necessary cleaning wash in an alcohol dip by either

• inverting your print while it is still mounted on the build platform (like from the Creality LD-006) and sliding it into the vertical rail holder, or
• separating your print from the build platform and using the wire bucket to contain your model while it gets soaked in the alcohol bath

The UW-02 lets you set the alcohol agitation time while in the bath, and the included vessel comes with a snap-lid for convenient air-tight storage between sessions.

Now that the resin model is all clean, the post-processing is completed by placing the print on the mirror rotary-table which bathes the model in the solidifying UV-light. This is all done in the amber light-tent for protecting your eyes.

It’s a tidy companion suitable for most resin printers and promises to make it a much less time-consuming & arduous process, so you can get back to your local favorite pub!
