It's the wiring harness for that funky XH 6-pin connector that only uses 4 pins of the stepper motor you're trying to connect to. XH-4 position on the other side for the stepper driver.
DESCRIPTION
Most of the hobby-style stepper motors used these days (especially in 3D Printers) use this funky JST XH 6-pin connector where only 4 pins are actually used. Don't ask me why; I've got lots of other things to figure out first!
