ESun e4D 1.75mm Transparent White Filament - 0.5kg Spool

Are you familiar with Nitinol? It's known as "Shape-memory wire", meaning it is a wire that can be formed at a high temperature. It can then be mangled or reshaped, then upon re-heating, it springs back into the original shape. ESun's e4D is a similarly-behaving Shape-Memory Polymer. Print with it like normal, then take your model and warm it in a 50ºC hot-water bath. Reshape it and hold the form until it cools again, then when you re-heat it, it springs back into the original printed shape again! Very cool!

Features:

• Shape memory: after submerging in 45-90ºC water, the material becomes soft and can be reshaped. It hardens in room temperature and keeps its form. Submerge in hot water again and it will convert back to its original shape.

Specifications:

• 1.75mm nominal diameter (spec'd +/- 0.05, but is in practice closer to +/- 0.03)
• 0.5kg spools on LARGE diameter (easy unspooling) reels, vacuum sealed with desiccant
• Suggested build parameters:
  • Print temperature 200-210 ℃
  • Base temperature: 35-50 °C
  • Print speed: 40-90 mm/s
