The venerable “three fives” 555 IC is no doubt one of the classic chips that greybeards talk about fondly. “In mah day, all we had was a 555, a cup of really hot tea, and a towel. And that’s how we invented the internet!”

Now EMSL has revamped the 555 into something that sits fully-functional, and proudly on a desk. It’s not just a show-piece – it’s a fully functional working upscaled version.

It’s a great learning tool and geek conversation piece!
