When Valve (yes, that Valve) moved facilities a while ago, they were left with a pile of old R&D equipment that was just too …cool… to simple discard. So they were kind enough to strike a deal with us to absorb and redistribute it!

In this situation we have a set of pre-release Valve VIVE Hand controllers sets, which include:

• 2 x hand controllers designed for use with Lighthouse base-stations
• 2 x USB nRF24LU1P dongles (one per controller)
• 2 x CR123A Rechargers & power supplies
• 8 x CR123A 3V 600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion batteries
• 2 x micro-USB debugging interface boards

This is new in-box pre-release developer edition hardware. Will it be compatible with anything you might own? We don’t know; can’t say. But for the value of 8 CR123A cells and chargers alone, it might be fun to try out!
