Vancouver Mini Maker Faire

The best part of being a company in Canada is that you don't need to leave the country to go there. That being said, we're going to show some of our fellow Canuck's some lovin' by attending the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire at the Great Northern Way Campus from June 25th-26th.  We'll bring a handful of our more popular kits and acessories with us, along with some stuff that we distribute for SparkFun, Adafruit, and a few others. But wait, THERE'S MORE! We'll also be recreating the magical experience of a 100% free ARDX workshop. Drop by our booth, and we'll set you up with a couple Arduino-based experiments to try and give you any help you might need along the way. We'll even throw in a lil' treat for participating. This is a great chance for west coasters that didn't make it down to San Franscisco last month to experience Maker Faire. Be sure to drop by and say hello if you're in the area!

New! Servo2 and RM1a motors

We've got in an inventory of Grand Wing Servo S03N standard servos. These pack quite a bit of power, and prove to be pretty good for standard servo applications. We're sorry to say that the RM1 is no-more. The RM1 is dead; long live the RM1. (I never understood that phrase...) All hail the RM1a! […]

The first one is at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Open House in Edmonton, Alberta. Besides a mini-sumo, full-size sumo, fire-fighting, and line-follower, they're also running two workshops, one on […]

Maker Faire Arduino Workshop, LoL Shield...

Psst. Hey. You. I have a secret. A secret we want everyone to know about. But only the people going to the San Fransisco Maker Faire. The word 'free' is a pretty good word, right? Let's throw 'Arduino' in there too. We may be onto something here... How about 'workshop', just for good measure? Those […]

New Vibe Motors!

We've finally come upon a suitable replacment for the venerable, discontinued VPM vibrating pager disk motor. Ah, it was a splendid device, but it sure was easy to break those motor leads... Ah! But the new VPM2 has wires prebonded to the motor, and it's slightly smaller too! We welcome our new vibrating disk motor […]
