Sensors - Force Sensors

The Phidget Force Sensor works with the Phidget 8/8/8, measuring up to 3 Kg of force.

The 1115 measures absolute gas pressure from 20 to 250 kPa (2.9 to 36.3 psi) with a maximum error of ±1.5%.

The IESF-R-5 Pressure Sensor is a variable resistance sensor where the output resistance is proportional to the force applied to the bulb.

The IESP-12 Force Sensor is a variable resistance sensor where the output resistance is proportional to the force applied to the plunger.

Need to measure fluid levels? This eTape sensor is a solid state, continuous fluid level sensor ideal for non-nasty environments (but including water).

These sensors are simple to set up and great for sensing pressure, but they aren't incredibly accurate. Use them to sense if it's being squeezed, but you may not want to use it as a scale.

A simple flex sensor 4.5" in length. As the sensor is flexed, the resistance across the sensor increases. COOL! Add it to your clothes - ideal for interfacing with LilyPad Arduino!
