Bicore Experimenters PCB
The Bicore Experimenter's PCB ("BEP") is a collection of easy-to-use BEAM circuits on a snap-apart printed circuit board (PCB).
Modules include:
- 3 x BC1 - Bicore Breadboards (for free-form experiments with the 74xx240)
- 6 x BC2 - Standard triple-buffered self-starting Bicores
- 3 x BC3 - Dual double-buffered separately-enabled Bicores
- 3 x IMx - Inverting Multiplexors (for reversing signal polarities)
- 2 x MD2 - 8 Channel Motor driver
- 2 x SC1 - ServoCore driver for unmodified hobby servos
- 4 x PM3 - 1/2 sized Maxim 8212 configurable hysteresis Solarengine
- 6 x MSE1 - 1/2 sized Miller Solarengine
- 3 x Chg - 1/4 sized Charging Jack / Power Switch module
- 9 x BB - 1/4 sized Breadboards
- 10 x LMP1 - Solderable leg mounting pads for mounting to servo arms
Each module is well documented, and the PCB itself is very well labled for ease of use. This board is IDEAL for robot experiments using BEAM Bicore technology.
Find the documentation for each module here in Adobe PDF format.
Warning: This board is NOT intended for beginners. Only those with reasonable electronics skill should attempt to use these modules, as Solarbotics cannot assist in debugging any circuit mysteries you may find while wiring up using these modules. We can only guarantee the individual performance of each module by itself in that each module will perform as specified in the documentation.
Please visit our BEP projects sub-page for an ongoing development of projects based on the BEP development boards!
