It can be used to mount your microcontroller of choice whether it being an Arduino, Freeduino, PICAXE-28 Project Board, EZ-B or you could always go with direct radio control to a motor driver. We recommend the following motor drivers: Compact motor driver, Ardumoto shield, or the Adafruit Motor shield to drive the Tamiya twin motor gearbox.
Features:
- Rugged blue anodized aluminum chassis with skid plate and laser-engraved artwork;
- Grippy rubber treads to get over the toughest obstacles;

- Acrylic color can even be easily be changed with plastic spray paint to modify its look and feel, protective paper has been left on acrylic for your own customiation;
- Includes cutouts for SAFE (Solarbotics Arduino Freeduino Enclosure) mounting to protect your electronics in off-road environments;
