PICAXE-08 Proto Board Kit
A tiny and inexpensive way to experiment with the 8-pin PICAXE microcontroller. Measures just 2-1/8" x 2-1/4". This is an electronic kit and requires assembly (about 10 minutes) with a soldering iron.
Note: You still need a PICAXE-08 or 08M to use this Proto board!
Features an on-board programming jack so that the PICAXE can be programmed on-board in a graphical 'flow-chart' type language or in easy-to-learn BASIC. The programming software is a free download (see Download Resources Link)and only an inexpensive programming cable is required to connect the board to your computer.
IMPORTANT: This kit requires 4.5 - 5 Volts DC to operate. The 9-Volt battery clip included with this kit is for connection to a 3xAA cell battery box (available separately) ONLY. Do not connect this clip to a 9-Volt battery or the PICAXE chip WILL be destroyed.
