Electronic Components - LEDs/Diodes
Diodes and LEDs are pretty much a necessity in any electronics project. The diodes are the unsung hero, sitting in the background only letting current flow in one direction. But those vain LEDs - they're the ones blinking out "pay attention to me!" (well, the IR LEDs try, but nobody sees their infrared light).
Of those LEDs, we've got several types, some tiny but bright, some naturally colourful, and others just sneaky only showing off their colour when powered on. Remember, you can't have too many LEDs on your project - blinky lights are absolutely needed on geek projects!
Not only do we stock standard diodes, but also LEDs. We have bright, tiny, infrared, flashing and standard types.
What's to say about diodes and LEDs? We've got a good selection of each necessary for building your next project! Remember, you can't have too many blinky lights - blinky lights are a necessity for any cool device.
The MaxM an intensely-bright smart LED for prototyping that comes as a package of two components, a control module (MaxM Master) and a daughter board with three ultrabright LEDs (MaxM Blaster).
