There’s still time to get your Solarbotics order in time for Christmas if you select courier shipping (maybe even just airmail, if you get the order in today and you live closeby).

We now have a solid inventory of ScoutWalker III kits in stock, so if you want to have one from “Santa” this year, we can help you out!

Word is Mark W. Tilden gave CBC Radio a nice interview that’ll be aired right after the 10am news on your local CBC station.

Not Canadian? Use the internet to your advantage. Use this link to find the station closest to your time zone (or earlier or later if you wish), and tune in!

The Robolympics are coming up. Interesting list of events, and last year’s was quite a blast… Just so you know!

We’ve managed to dig up enough parts to get six ScoutWalker III’s together in time for Christmas.

We’ll have them ready by the end of the week for shipping, so if you don’t mind waiting for your order to go until then, feel free to pre-order now!

Elegent motors anyone? Not for mini-sumo, that’s for sure!

Harold Ilano built this SW2.2 / VBug inspired 5 motor walker named “Tank”, and just recently announced it on the BEAM mailing list. It’s a very effective and quick device - nicely done, and well worth a look-see. It still impresses me what we can do without a microcontroller…

Remember the old SunSwinger? That nice and pretty red’n'gold layout? Well, they’re GONE. No more! Finito!

With that said, we’re happy to introduce the new SunSwinger… The ones in black and gold (at no increase in price)!

Sorry to say that our initial inventory of the ScoutWalker III has sold out! We’re trying to get more ready for Christmas, but no promises…

Ok people, the sales on the PDXBot 04 DVD have been less-than-stellar. I brought them in primarily because I thought other people wanted to see robot competitions that you may not otherwise get to see. Also, a portion of the proceeds go to help the PARTS club in Portland Oregon.

If you have a robo-geek on your gift list for this Christmas, it’s really a worthwhile gift. I truly can recommend this DVD as worthwhile. I’ve seen some really …bad… robot videos, but this ain’t one of them! Honest!

Check out the producer’s website for teasers to see how good it is for yourself!
